About Sean Kelley

Sean Kelly is a Toronto-based Canadian guitarist and singer. He plays guitar with Nelly Furtado, Coney Hatch, and Lee Aaron, and is the founder and frontman of the glam rock band Crash Kelly. A former member of Helix, he has also co-founded 69 Duster and worked with artists including Gilby Clarke and Rudy Sarzo.

Professional Recognition

Crash Kelly signed a multi-album deal with Liquor and Poker Music in 2004 and has toured internationally with artists including Alice Cooper, Backyard Babies, The Quireboys, and Enuff Z'Nuff. Their music has also been featured on Bam's Unholy Union. As a producer, Sean Kelly was a finalist for Best Album at the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards for Penny Pills. In 2009, Kelly joined Helix as bassist, co-writing and co-producing Vagabond Bones alongside vocalist Brian Vollmer. Later that year, he transitioned to guitar with Nelly Furtado, debuting before 165,000 fans in Mexico City and appearing on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. He continued touring internationally with Furtado through 2010.
