Rob Lamothe is an award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the Los Angeles rock band Riverdogs, performing alongside legendary guitarist Vivian Campbell (Dio, Def Leppard).With a career spanning more than four decades, Lamothe has built a reputation as one of Canada’s respected songwriters, blending rock, blues, folk, and Americana with deeply expressive storytelling and a soulful voice. As The Toronto Star described him, he is a “mercurial artist who slides effortlessly from rustic roots music to full-blown rock.” Rolling Stone praised his “out of this world soulful voice,” while Exclaim Magazine noted his songwriting shows “skills that most songwriters dream of possessing.” Lamothe continues to create new music, including his upcoming album “Happy,” a stripped-down project featuring collaborations with Vivian Campbell, Nick Brophy, and Zander Lamothe. Beyond recording and performing, he has spent more than 14 years collaborating with Indigenous artists and youth across Canada, including the project “We Are The Water,” created with over 250 students and later presented before members of Canada’s Federal Parliament.
